1. The electrical activity of Purkinje cells was studied in guinea‐pig cerebellar slices in vitro.
Intracellular recordings from Purkinje cell somata were obtained under direct vision, and
antidromic, synaptic and direct electroresponsiveness was demonstrated. Synaptic
